Nice little egyptian style box, everything works correctly and it is in good shape. The top lid opens and inside is lined with some superb black felt. There is a little drawer on the front that you pull out and this drawer is also lined with black felt. The hinges and handles are all very good. The only critique is that the egyptian motif on the outside is sheets of some kind of stick on like shelf paper. Still pretty nice and has a good aged look to it. You can however see in small spots the stick on sheets peeling back a tad. And the surface is prone to scuffing. Overall a good value that looks pretty nice.

I can't really complain too much about this product for the price, but the outside design is glued on with an adhesive that was already starting to come off when the product was received. Construction is acceptable, but not very solid. Just understand that you get what you pay for!

The coloring is not anywhere near the intensity shown in the picture. In fact, it is very dull. The interior compartments are small and lined with cheap flocked paper with a few wrinkles in it. The only reason we are not returning it is that it is for a young girl who is in to egyptian culture. I think she'll be okay with it since she has not seen the more colorful version in the picture. I would not buy this for anyone over 12. If I had more time, I could embellish the box using the faintly stamped figures already depicted. There are other comments about the quality of this piece but they're under "seller feedback" and I did not see them before ordering this box. Maybe I will wait and give it as a birthday gift...then, I will have time to make it something special! Seller shipping was fast and the box was packaged very well.

The design on the outside is nice enough but the the inside has flocked paper as the lining and it is poorly glued on. The paper lining is all crinkled and bumpy because it was not glued down evenly. This box might be ok for a teenager's trinkets but I would not purchase it as a jewelry box for an adult. It has two compartments. It is made in China--I wish I would have known that before I purchased it.
